For those who are affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

As the international flight cancelations and the close of Thailand's neighboring countries boarders
has disabled foreigners from traveling back to their homeland, by the power of the Immigration Act, (B.E. 2522, section 35 and Royal Thai
Police Order no. 327/2557: temporary overstay for foreigners in Thailand, dated on
30 June 2014; Immigration Bureau Order no. 138/2557: Document list for temporary
overstayed applying, dated on 7 July 2014; and Immigration Bureau Order no. 139/2557:
temporary overstayed granting, dated on 7 July 2014;) immigration officers must grant a
temporary stay for applicants whom overstayed their visas due to the disruption of the
Coronavirus. Temporary stay will be granted under these conditions;

1. The foreigner who held a tourist visa (TR), his or her application must
be taken into a consideration under section 2.4.

2. The foreigner who held other type of visa, his or her application must
be taken into a consideration under section 2.28; however, in case of necessity one must
obtain a certification from the embassy or the consulate.

3. If an application cannot be granted under clause 1 or 2, and by the
cause of necessity, immigration officer must put "Effected by Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Outbreak" on the applicant's TM.7 application, and have such applications granted, but the period of the stay must not be over 30 days; as stated on Royal Thai Police Order no.
327/2557: unqualified application, dated on 30 June 2014.
